Established in the spring of 2021, The Green Cocoa Team is a family run business based in rural Aberdeenshire. We hand craft unique, dairy and gluten free treats using luxury dark Belgian chocolate.

The inspiration behind ‘The Green Cocoa Team’ comes from the families love of chocolate and our various food intolerances. We found many 'free from' foods have strange textures, tastes and unnecessary ingredients. However, our dark chocolate is just that, dark chocolate, a naturally 'free from' food! We carefully select all of our ingredients to ensure they never contain any traces of dairy or gluten so can be enjoyed by not only dark chocolate lovers but also anyone following a dairy and gluten free or vegan diet.

Besides from making great tasting chocolatey treats, our main aim is to be as environmentally friendly as possible. We have solar panels at our property which help to power our cocoa kitchen. Ensuring all of our packaging is 100% bio-degradable is really important to us. Our gift wrap may look like cellophane but is actually made from wood pulp and can easily be composted. We buy our ingredients from reputable suppliers to ensure they come from ethically and environmentally friendly sources.
